The question to sell? Position traders sell when they can. My example of having purchased SEPR at the very bottom, lamenting that I sold at $6?

I put away more profit, in absolute terms, than many who held until now ($46). For many years, we've shown in the T/FIF thread that a degree of safety can ALWAYS be found in biotech, as capitalizations vary widely from fundamental value.

There is no rule. Biotech's volatility means that there's always another bus, first, and position trades were by far the most productive 2000-2003. Moreover, the CLASSIC biotech investor doesn't need to sell, as his or her positions are largely aimed at munch. Neither he nor she will touch these lousy companies that sell stuff.
