William & All You can now read (for free) the very informative and objective article in the July 29 issue of Forbes concerning the flakiness of the NASDAQ entitled "Taking Investors for a Ride" at: forbes.com Click on the feature article at the top. You will also find an interesting piece by David Dreman at the bottom of the index page under the title 'The Contrarian' - it talks about the dangers inherent to short sellers posed by market makers, institutions and insiders on the NASDAQ. He also gives some stocks that a contrarian might want to consider buying.
