I have just seen an MLS listing for a home a few blocks from where I live which might sell for about $900k.

However, their asking price is $1.825 million for a two story 3,340 sq ft home on a tiny 5,993 sq ft lot built in 1925.

I see they bought their home at the height of the previous bubble in 1989 for $518k. It is walking distance from a Norm's Coffee Shop (an econo diner), so there's some neighborhood amenities.

I know this price is totally disconnected from reality, yet for some reason I'm offended they even thought to put in a listing at this price.

There's something seriously wrong with this town of Los Angeles.

edit ## when it rains it pours. A 3,900 sq ft condo a block away for $1.695 million. These people are delusional.
