Berger denies an offer was made by Sudan. I already posted his quote. If there was an offer it was an unofficial back channels thing which may or may not have been made to anyone in authority or in time to do anything about OBL. What the Sudanese should have done was make a real offer directly to Berger or the White House. Why didn't they?

Aain, this whole story is a myth created by the rightwing in order to blame 9-11 on Clinton when it happened on Bush's watch.
