I'm mostly just dollar cost averaging some biotech with very early stage prospects. I'm looking to pick up some Pfizer (I should have bought back at $32ish but did not pull the trigger). I'm accumulating some energy tech. And, I'm mostly doing some costly repairs to the house I bought. The sellers very nicely hid extensive carpenter ant damage. I haven't found any evidence of termites, though they are in the soil.

With respect to inflation, it just amazes me how people seem to be shrugging it off! I can't figure it out. I think it must be exploding debt levels but the piper must be paid, eventually. I can't beleive how hosed I'm gonna be on social security. They keep raising the retirement age (ie. collection age), next they will cut the actual amount I'll be eligible for and, finally, inflation will destroy what's left.

I'm going to try to find a rental property so I can at least extract the inflation piece from the renters. Property is very expensive here, so this will be difficult given my current saving habits and the construction (oh yeah, the kids will be off to college after next year...)
