Word in the pits is that the traders are squaring their positions ahead of the employment numbers of tomorrow.
OTOH, expiration week mostly had a bullish bias.
Hence expecting a bad reaction to the numbers tomorrow, followed by a muddle through week back to the close of today.

OTTH, there is a $10 million ad campaign starting today for the re-election.
