on the other side of the seesaw is the demographics in the rest of the world - not just China, but Romania and Vietnam and all the other former socialist paradises with young eager stuff gatherers just getting started. So as the US slows down demand from billions of others of folks might keep global prices up for fuel and copper and chips simultaneous deflation and inflation - like getting mugged, robbed, raped and drugged at the same time.
