California passed their own legislation requesting a special blend - they asked for it - they got it.

If they had as many oil wells off the GREENIE protected shores, they'd be buying gas at 1.51 like I did for MY GREAT BIG 3/4 TON CREW CAB.GG

The rip in gas is what local state taxes soak you with.

I just came from Australia where their governments rips the consumer at a tax rate of 4.50 per gallon .98/liter.

Gas is cheap and readily available - it is a taxing issue vs shortage.
