Rock_nj, The Bell Curve -- As with IQ or other measures of intelligence, so too with the amount of information that individuals have processed with the intelligence they bring to bear on the facts about U.S. foreign policy. There is a bell curve that describes what people actually know about the antics of the government. I proudly wear the label of 'freak', in the sense that I have an information base on government malfeasance that is comprehended by roughly one in 200 Americans. What we have on this thread is a highly concentrated collection of freaks just in the same sense that Los Alamos was a highly concentrated collection of freaks in the WW II era. Being smart and being well-informed is a rarity in America. Need I mention how frustrating it is to realize that my SAT scores are probably about 25% higher than those of the fool who sits in the Oval Office? As in American business, so too in American politics...... The Scum Also Rises.
