It is fascinating to watch the goings on in the financial markets. There is more and more evidence that much of the easy money which should stimulate the economy and business in general has not created jobs in America. Funny how things are booming in Asia on the other hand.

Those jobs lost due to "outsourcing" aren't soon coming back, and no-one can figure out where new jobs will come from. Jobs that do exist are being held up by unprecedented low interest rates.

But, very good for some businesses, especially the Wall St. money-changer types. And their CEOs are being rightfully (g) and generously awarded. Goldman Sachs' CEO had a decent pay raise due to his clever corporate stewardship. His pay check increased 75% to over $21 million. Most folk work about 40 hrs./week, and if they are able to work longer, say 80 hrs./wk, without any time off, eating sandwiches on the go, as I suspect the overworked/undervalued CEOs are, the Goldman guy is making a little over $5,000/hr. He obviously is overworked and needs a break or a holiday or a massage.

These guys are great examples for all those underlings who need role models, who look up for inspiration and renewed dedication.

Why oh why can't the great masses not pull themselves out of the gutter and become successful like their leaders?
