No files were stolen or broken into. All the files were on the same open server. Was it wrong to access the files, yes. That has been established.

Now let's talk about what the left doesn't want to talk about AND what the spineless Republican leadership will not go after, the content.

But that won't happen. And if you can't see that the content is the crime here...............

The report was supposed to be released with the names of the individuals involved redacted. But a copy was mistakenly released with the names included. The report identified the two former Republican staff aides as Manuel C. Miranda, who had already been named as a central figure in the investigation, and Jason Lundell, whose name had not previously been known

Well if one EVER thought the nytimes had ANY integrity......
