the thing thats really shocking about this US payrolls number is the fact that economists are shocked.

Over time, I have seen economists that were on the money on some of the financial shows. The white haired economic pundit on CNBC (can't recall his name) seems to be really good. He said we had a big problem with india in 2000, I recall. Anyway the important thing to me right now is to get an economic team that can see whats really happening, that is the first step. Once we get a smart economic team then it is more likely policy will be good. But with these bozos, who have been wrong for years, I don't want them to touch anything.

I knew a year ago when the conservatives were basically shouting "let them eat cake" we were in trouble with these labor matters. The problem now is dealing with the backlash that is surely coming.
