That’s the claim of at least one former POW that has come out against Kerry lately, but I don’t think anyone would argue with the fact that the North Vietnamese made full use of the war protests at the time. All that is ancient history though. Bush will be re-elected because the economy is steadily improving, Iraq is winding down, and people consider him a strong leader.
