This thread has been quiet for a long time. I've just started getting interested in Calpine. This year's PE is 10. Next earnings should grow 24%. The stock is at 18 and change. The company operates cogen plants in California. I have a background in this area, and I think I'll do some digging around. Anybody out there? Chime in, and lets share the load investigating this interesting "growth utility". Given the current precarious state of the market, this could be an interesting stock at this time. Paul
