I am the owner of a telecom management company (www.auditel.com) and have twenty-three years in the telecom industry (20 years with AT&T and NYNEX. A couple of important comments re: your post on Dimeline. They are going after the very unsavory residential market.

Some of our clients (home phones) were solicited by Dimeline in NH and first of all they are not a certified carrier in NH. This means that are not authorized by the local public utilities commission to provide long distance services. So they are in violation and can be fined and sanctioned in NH.

Second of all, you must read the fine print. $5.00 minimum monthly service fee and an unheard of 3 minute min. per call. Most carriers are 6 second to 1 minute minimums. A real big ripe off. A simple example of this is a mis-dialed call. With Dimeline your looking at .30 for that vs approximately .06 or less from the other major resellers. Also good luck in getting a credit for improper billing!!!

Most of all, I'll bet my profits on ISGI that this is a bait and switch deal whereas this rate is an "introductory rate", i.e., low interest credit cards. Most residential customers do not look at their phone bill that often and very few can actually calculate their rate per minute.

So do not fear they are not competitors to ISGI!!!
