CNE Group Announces Contract with Metropolitan Transportation Commission of California

NEW YORK, Mar 5, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- CNE Group, Inc. (AMEX:CNE) today announced that its subsidiary, U.S. Commlink, has been approved to commence work for the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC SAFE) of the State of California.


This project is the first phase in the implementation of the Call Box Strategic Plan to upgrade the aging system with better access to the call box site and updated electronics. Commenting on this new contract, Tom Leyen, U.S. Commlink president, stated, "We are very happy to have been awarded the opportunity to do this work. We will be able to apply over 15 years of call box project experience and an intimate knowledge of the MTC system to ensure a successful project.
