Good morning, Tom,

Glad to see you made it back from your trip safe and sound. Even more so that you missed the thread enough to come back to it.

So, would it be fair to say that Genesis is one of your favorite groups? I don't own any of their albums. About the closest I can come is an old Rick Wakeman album called "Journey To The Center Of The Earth". But I did like the lyrics you just posted. Not only is the theme of the song easy to relate to, but it also reads particularly well for this type of medium.

I am personally looking forward to a descriptive narrative with regard to your most recent adventure. Would this be considered as asking nicely?

Before you left for your transatlantic voyage there was brief mention of Neil Young and some of his lyrics. I ran accross these while listening to a syndicated radio program called Reel'in in the Years. I started taping them a bit late but found them compeling enough to copy the words onto paper. I'd kind of like to know if anyone familiar with these particular lyrics recognizes them and can tell me the name of the song and maybe the album from which it also comes:

...putting the tease on.

I was down on a frown
when the messanger brought me a letter
I was raised by the praise of a fan
who said I upset her
Any girl in the world
could have easily known me better
She said you're strange, but don't change
and I let her.

In awhile will the smile on my face
turn to plaster
Stick around, well the clown
who is sick as a trick of disaster
Oh the race of my head and my face
is moving much faster

(Repeats three times):

Is it strange I should change
I don't know
why don't you ask her

----------------------------------------------------------------------

BTW, I can pick up the strength slack big time.

Get in a narrative, Tom. Would love to read it.
