KyrosL you are pretty much just taking a straight projection and extending it out. That might be as reasonable as anyway to predict when China's GDP might exceed the US but it still isn't a good way. Things don't keep growing at exactly the same pace indefinitely. As for China's productivity exploding, it might happen, but now it is a small fraction of that of the US. Tim
