Oh, boy, could I tell you about floaters and retinal tearing.

I have floaters like you wouldn't believe. Half of my life is lived looking through gauze. At times I just sit and wait for the floaters to float out of the way before I can get back to reading or writing.

As to retinal tearing, do NOT disregard this. I had both eyes operated on for retinal tearing, one a full operation with a scleral buckle installed and the other in-office laser surgery. The first one is so bad my ophthalmologis calls it my swiss cheese retina. Yeah, just what I want a doctor saying!

I see her religiously every six months, and so far I can still see, when the floaters aren't in the way. But if I hadn't had timely operations, nope.

So do NOT play around with this.
