a better option?

I've done the prep thing twice in the past few months -- for x-rays related to a kidney stone attack and for the colonoscopy. No flavored liquids either time but 20 very large pills taken over an hour with a lot of water. It was easier than the awful liquid that I had to take for a surgery many years ago, but it wouldn't work so well for anyone who has difficulty swallowing pills.

With my "shoot me" instruction still in play, I better stop the prep-talk before gunfire erupts. <g>
