vt, another thought just happened to hit pee brain.

It is my observation and opinion that gold stocks over the last 2 months have shown considerable strength, not excessive weakness. They never did cave in. The normal conclusion would be that they smell something.

I don't post my trading, on any sort of regular basis, as I don't trade with the frequency many of you do. Shortly after the second top of this correction I went to my lowest % holdings since the end of May '02 top/Oct '02 bottom. I reinvested a little early perhaps, and mostly in leveraged issues that should do well going forward, with higher POG. I continue to believe in this bull and think corrections, until the top is reached, will be shorter in duration. Shorter as compared to that long '02 correction for example. This latest one may be longer than most, going forward, until a true primary top is hit.

This weekend I am going to give further consideration to some additional rebalancing.
