Can you imagine 2 or more Scalias on the bench for life?

Two more scalias would be scary but imagine something like this:

Junior finds a way to get the job again this year, probably with the help of diebold. The economy starts doing great and the republicans pick up even more seats in 2006. We have another devastating terrorist attack along about 2007. With junior in the whitehouse and the republicans controlling everything else including the supreme court the bush gang starts promoting a change to the constitution which would allow them to stay in office without even holding elections as long as the war on terror lasted. Their bill passes due to their control of the legislature. The bill keeping them in office finally ends up in the supreme court and we have the same 5 to 4 vote that got him in the first time. This would give them until at least 2010 to figure out how to keep control of the legislature. Their easiest way would be the diebold voting terminals.
Who would be able to stop them? As long as they had the military behind them they are home free. We just laid down and accepted it when they stole the whitehouse the first time. Sounds like science fiction doesn't it? Stranger things have happened.
