Don you are so right about estimates. I can't believe how wrong these guys are. I can't believe today with all the technology and up to the minute info that they can't be any better? They supposedly have access to all the sector/industry inside news, numbers, contacts and rumors and yet they are consistently wrong. Either their methods are wrong or there are lies out there. That's why I think looking at the core fundamentals and value of a company is so important. Estimates are only good to project where the price might go and that tells us that since estimates so many times wrong, that alone can lead to false impressions. I think many of us got sucked into FSII way to early based on those same estimates. The only good I guess that comes out of all these wrong numbers is that, as the numbers get revised all the time, the herd of investors run from here to there, generating commissions for the brokerage houses. And oh yeah, the analysts work for these same houses, yes? <g>
