Nixon tried to find dirt on Kerry from Nam and came up empty. Read the Watergate tape transcripts. Nixon and Colson talk about JK's three Purple Hearts and wonder how he got them so quickly. Nixon ordered JK "detsroyed". But even Tricky Dick's squads oculdn't find anything wrong with JK except that he was too damn smart, courageous and good-looking. Weld's campaign also tried to find something-anything to slime Kerry with. Found nothing except his anti-war protest. My friend was working for Weld then and told me how frustrating it was to fight back against JK. This year the biggest dirt search in history is on. So far they've mede up a phony sex scandal, doctored a phony photo with Fonda and made up a bunch of lies about JK wanting to cancel the DOD and the CIA. Plus a few stories like someone JK took $1000 contribution from gets indicted 10 years later. Big deal. JK is clean, my friend. Deal with it. The only things you can find will only anger those on the far-far right, like Kerry's wanting to end the war. But those neanderthals wont vote for JK anyway.
