They make it seem like there is no recovery underway and things have never been so bad. As a matter of fact we are at 5.6% unemployment and except for those bubble years we have never had it so good

I think the real problem is that people are looking for clarity and nobody is really providing it. What you say above is true..... except.....

The bottom line is that with a 7-8% GDP people want to see it affecting their lives. And as an investor I want to see it translate into the kind of economy we had in the 90s, where semiconductor companies were selling all they can build at *high* prices. Intel's call did not sound like much of a recovery to me. At this point I think chances are good we fall back into recession in a few mos.
