Steve: Am not laying any of this at the feet of the Bush Admin. They have done all they can to improve the business environment. The rest is up to corporate America that in my considered opinion is being very cautious here due to in part the negativity that is continually being broadcast at them. They may not believe but they react with caution because of it. They are also being cautious as they fear a big tax and spender might be at hand. This, if the truth be known is a great economy. Low inflation (almost unheard of), low interest and low mortgage rates (therefore greater home ownership) high corp. return on assets and equity and a hidden benefit is low debt service on the national debt. We live in age of hyper-behavior and it seems that the market "pros" are the worst in displaying it. We are in a real sweet spot but fear and negativity and destroy it and this is what the Dems. are peddling. JFD
