Today just shows why options should be outlawed. Drove market down over 120 points in lasy 30 minutes once sell on close imbalances were announced. Finder, I have read a lot about how securities often go to the closest strike price on option expiration day and do understand that theory. However, I am not a bit clear on why options will cause the buy/sell imbalance on expiration. I would really appreciate an explanation when you have time. I am too dense or something but cannot seem to grasp that connection. I know you do not like options. I prefer not to trade stocks that do not have options. The premiums gained almost always off-set a loss if the underlying security goes the wrong way. Thank you in advance for any information you can provide. Glenn
