… how do I tell the difference between a China-raised crawfish from a Louisiana wild one (do I understand correctly that Louisiana folks raise crawfish in Louisiana as well) other than the labeling of the price tag.
I understood that the China-raised crawfish are the offspring of Louisiana creepycrawlies, and if so, visual inspection is a non-starter, and should this be the case, the Louisiana folks better starter demanding a law (yet another law, as if there is not enough of them already) requiring labeling, else, just as the bad money will crowd out the good money, the same will happen to the crawfish market, since the crawfish purist must be in the minority (democracy wins again).
