A Johnson Farm Oyster originating from San Francisco's Inverness cost USD 0.25 a piece (admittedly a large piece) on location, sweet, large, and delicious, but here in Hong Kong, USD 1.67 - 11.54, depending on the setting.

So, I suspect I am not likely to get within reach a Louisiana wild crawfish in my neighborhood until the economy improves, whether in reality or by fiat.

Although we are getting hints that the property market may see 'inflation' or 'wealth creation' of 100% over the next 36 months. I am hoping that the HKD, hard-pegged to the USD, will not meander down by 50% over the same planning horizon.

Never a boring moment.
