Our overwhelming military superiority over every other nation on the planet is unprecedented and in my opinion completely unnecessary. It's time to reduce the military to numbers commensurate with defending our borders and stop pre-emptive wars. How many aircraft carrier task forces do we need??? I suggest 4 max, 2 in the Atlantic and 2 in the Pacific. We could use the money wasted on an overkill military better on solving domestic issues.
