$200,000 without kids is wealthy. $200,000 with kids you get child tax credits. At $200,000 you can also afford to self-incorporate and take additional write-offs not available to average Americans. So don't feel sorry for the "poor guy" making $200,000. Also, we're tsalking about the mega-rich here too. Dick Cheney up to Bill Gates. And Theresa Heinz too. They all need to start paying a bit more.

Millionaires did better under Clinton than at any time in our history. Rolling back the top tax rates to Clinton levels is perfectly moderate and responsible. Someone has to pay the Bush's biggest deficit spending of all time.

Even the conservative Concord Coalition of Jack Kemp agrees Bush has gone too far and been fiscally reckless. We have to start balancing our books, and you can't do it all with spending cuts unless to raid Social Security, cut Medicare or cut defense dramatically.
