You did not include the qualifier ("a list of writers who lived and wrote during the time, or within a century after the time, that Christ is said to have lived and performed his wonderful works:") with the list that you posted.

You say "that is a lie". Anyone who can read can see it is not. As far as insults go.. it is you that can't go a single post without personal attacks. Again; people can read. As soon as any one disagrees with you they become "DUH" a moron.

"Added to that, we have the equally incredible event that several decades later (in all probability 150 years) certain people considered these events important enough to write voluminously about them! "

"You just keep weaseling. That remark was (duh) a reference to the Gospels"

Who's weaseling??? So.. "certain" people didn't write but other people did? How does that help your case? It seems pretty clear that, to the average person reading your posts, you are dogmatically asserting the position that NO historical evidence for the existence of the person of Jesus Christ exists. Jumping from one specific to another without qualification, demonstrates that it is you that is engaging in "misstatement, misdirection, and outright deceit".

As far as historians go you need to find one that was writing and recording the specific events in Israel at the time of Jesus and the apostles and that they had no knowledge of Jesus of Nazareth or his followers. Naming historians that had no interest in the affairs of a small Jewish sect in a backwater place like Israel proves absolutely nothing.

OTOH, Paul, indisputably wrote his letters within a short period after the death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. Within the lifetime of those who would have been in a position to call him on any fabrication. Your position is sooooo extreme that only a handful of the most zealous atheists are even would even try to defend it.

"Even the most critical historian can confidently assert that a Jew named Jesus worked as a teacher and wonder-worker in Palestine during the reign of Tiberius, was executed by crucifixion under the prefect Pontius Pilate and continued to have followers after his death."(Craig)
