frank, truf& all : House demolish sale in Palo Alto, CA. free home !(true story)

There was a 30-40 old house that some one remodelled for sale, new doublepane windows, hardwood floor etc. Sold for $800k. The new
owner did not like remodeling job or the house so he going to
TEAR DOWN THE house, and rebuid it.

I was driving by and saw this demolishing sale, so i bot sliding doors and windows etc...The guy told me I could just * HAVE * house if i just paid for all the parts. (front door & heater etc). He told me to
take trees too. Oh, i how i love trees. So I rushed home to tell my boss at home. He said "NO" we don't have time for all this and just
concentrate on yourstocks and we will just put up brand new houses on
my lot.

My lot is big enough to put 6 detached homes so I thoght I could just
take this free house and build foundation and move the house on my lot.

The house that is being demolished is in better condition then mine.
WOW ! I just feel like i have slept thru the housing explosion.
A friend of mine is paying RENT $1700 for one bedroom apt in palo alto , two bedroom would be $2100 (but no vacancy). He has 2 kids and is
moving here for good schools. In san jose (20 miles south) he can rent a home for $1700 and here he pays that for 1 bedroom..

CRAZY ! There is no land left anywhere in mt.view, palo alto, los altos. So you have to buy old houses and tear them down. My house
for e.g. has no value except the land.
