Hi Mephisto,

In many ways I found the jury verdict surprising.

SOmetimes I will follow certain stocks and notice heavy buying going on........all of a sudden there will be good news released. Someone certainly knew ahead of time and bought up the shares........anyone who trades stocks has noticed this phenomenon. What Martha did is something that is done practically every day on Wall Street. If you stopped all insider trading there wouldn't be much volume on Wall Street!! LOL

Martha was used as a scapegoat cause she is easy to hate due to her poor treatment of "lesser" humans. Her crime was fairly trivial compared to what Enron did to their employees.

Where is Johnny Cochran when you need him!!! LOL

Maybe Martha will make some humble pie and get a light sentence.

Meanwhile, her empire is crumbling. They will have to get a new Mary Poppins and resurrect the Martha Stewart Corp.
