Scott, The Chronicle is totally full of $#!+ lately: Re: The Vietnam War killed 58,235 Americans and an estimated 1.5 million Vietnamese, In "The Fog of War", Robert McNamara admitted to murdering 3.4 million Vietnamese. (No, he didn't put it quite that way.) Where do these idiot journalist get their facts from? Apparent their a$$es are big enough for every contrived "fact" they hope to deceive us with. Sheesh, Orwell was not just right. He was also uncannily timid about describing the destruction of truth that goes on in a totalitarian nightmare.
