That is the problem with the modern neocons. The rich should pay more in taxes because they have benefited the most. They didn't make fortunes in other societies they made them here. An they got to be fantasticly wealthy under a more austere tax structure than Bush has put into place. The expectation that they would risk that wealth because of decreased tax rates suggest only that further growth of their wealth outweighs the risk associated with new investments that may benefit society. I have seen no empirical evidence to support such a thesis.
