Sure, which further complicates Gina's issue. I mean do we really want to take up three parenthetical paragraphs for each affiliation of each person referenced in each news article so we can find out where they're coming from? That's too cumbersome. Simple characterizations like "conservative" are provocative to some. And no reference at all annoys Gina. So what to do...

Personally, I think we should understand the difficulties of all of this and cut them some slack unless they blatantly misrepresent, but that's just me.

I think this flap about the flap over the WTC in the Bush promos is way overdone. News media are always looking for the criticism. Sells papers. Always has and always will. Doesn't mean they're biased against Bush. No way will the news ever report than anyone's ads were "well received" or "provoked no comment." Never happen.
