I don't like your comments about how the poor shareholders of Clayton got taken. The problem with Clayton is that they had run out of financing to expand because others had poisoned the market. Without Warren the company starts a slow downward spiral, IT IS ARGUABLE the stock was worth exactly what an unfunded contractor was worth, sans sour grapes.

Clayton shareholders to gain the benefit of the bargain that you alledge could have just bough Berkshire stock and made an addition profit.

As far as McLane goes, you criticize without understanding that McLane will automatically at least double its business, simply by not being a captive subsidiary of WalMart.

Aside from that your comments are pretty much right on.
