Damn it, quit just parroting that other people do it. Other people cheat on their taxes, other people steal from their employers. Other people trade on insider information. Other people lie under oath. Does that make those things honest?
Come right out and be straightforward and say, yes, it is honest to take an employer's money while spending 95% of your time not doing the job but looking for a new job. Or say no, it's not honest.
Take a stand. Stop trying to parrot this excuse you should have gotten over when you were nine years old that "but, Mom, everybody does it" as though that made it right. It didn't, and it doesn't, and if you think it does, well, I sure hope to he!! you don't have children, because if that's what you believe constitutes honesty, you're going to make a piss poor parent. |
