Look at it this way McLane has a currently profitable business who's gross is about to double and whose costs are somewhat fixed.

I'm not an accountant, but that has a tendency to increase profits.

And I don't like you criticizing Warren for buying a business that in your eyes has a good chance of failure. I must tell you, he has a pretty good understanding of these profit things.

Just My Opinion, of course.
