Government either has the right to tax or not.

The Government doesn't have any "rights," Mike. Collective rights are nothing more than the sum of the individual rights. The viewpoint you are using is a fiction sold by collectivists. The Government gets money out of individuals by using force. If you don't pay, they will shoot you.

In our system we cede this to the Government on a voluntary basis, as a "necessary evil." If enough of us think it is wrong, we change the system, either by the ballot box or by force.
