I have been waiting for a question re the dollar EW I did. Since it doesn't appear to be coming I will ask and answer.

The question would go something like "Why did the middle part of that one minor wave appear to be quite long, but was then followed by a higher than normal correction, and early truncation?"

My explanation: Intervention!

In the end these waves are gonna happen, and get to where they want to go, no matter who is pushing the levers behind the curtains.

In a way the dollar waves have been a choppy mess for quite a while imo. Too controlled looking. Way too controlled. How many charts do you see like that? Chop chop chop with a steady and stabile slope. I expect that to end in the near future. It is not going to continue as it has forever, and the trend is not up.
