You gloss over the real point.

Aristide would not have been in a position to be killed by rebels if those rebels had not received 20,000 M16s, plus M60s and grenade launchers from the Bush administration, plus a round of training in the Dominican Republic. It's not just the 20 minutes when the marines hustled Aristide out of the palace that are the problem. That's just the lie where the administration was so blatently caught.
