I agree. More likely a return to the serial interventions that were the hallmark of Clinton foreign policy.

One of the very interesting subjects that Chalmers Johnson discussed on the Book TV network yesterday was Camp Bondsteel. This base in Bosnia is reputed to be the only human construction, other than the Great Wall of China which can be views with the naked eye from space. Developed by, guess who..... Kellogg, Brown & Root, it was the largest military construction project of the Clinton years.
And, guess what? It sits exactly astride a proposed oil and gas pipeline route from the Black Sea to the Adriatic. A pipeline designed to eliminate the huge bottleneck now occurring for LCCs, Large Crude Carriers, in the Bosphorus.

Oil geopolitics determined what Clinton did, and it will determine Kerry foreign policy as well.
