Again, I say it is silly to write from this perspective -- did he interview real confidants -- real friends of Martha -- my guess is he only got interviews with folks who had an axe to grind ...

Let's say there is some truth to the slant on her character -- what does that have to do with the fact she is not guilty of insider trading -- only possibly guilty of lying about something that is not a crime -- getting a tip that waskal was selling his shares??

Let me answer it for you -- it matters because we all delight in kicking someone we think less of than ourselves.

Everyone that is pouring out all this wonderful self-righteous wrath on the woman -- have you ever lied??

I have.

Have you ever thought more highly of yourself than you ought to??

I have.

Have you ever treated someone else in business with less respect than you would have liked to receive??

I have.

I haven't been thrown in fail for it. When someone rich and famous lies -- is it worse than when you or I lie??

Is the punishment -- not just her jail time -- but the damage inflicted on MSO shareholders commensurate with what she supposedly did -- lied about a tip that waskal sold his shares (remember, that is not a crime).
