There's a documentary already done that I taped on the Inquisitions. It was unbelievable. When Jefferson was around it had not been that long before that the Inquisitions happened. And they could not have happened except that the Catholic Church had the total control of the ruling monarchs who wanted to please the Pope. It was a perverted Gospel and the Church/State collusion that made it possible. People spend so much time hashing out what is wrong with established religion and totally ignore the existence of the sincere faith that is in so many individuals.
