TC and All,

Question regarding power management using WIN 2000 Pro and a 4 harddrive SCSI Raid 5 array using Adaptec SCSI Raid hardware. Under Control Panel -> Power Options -> general, can I set my harddrives and monitor to shut off after a certain time and, if so, will they start on their own with mouse movement or whatever... similar to a laptop? How about hibernate? Does anyone know if it will work with my configuration? Thanks in advance for anyone with any knowledge in this area. My concern is to prolong the life of the harddrives if they are shutdown when not being used for many hours, but have to be available and would not be accessible to turn off and on manually.

Marty
