The job decreases are real. Don't believe these statistics. I can tell you that many people have been displaced - I have seen it. Many of these cannot find new jobs - the jobs are gone.

I heard a young lady on CSPAN calling in this morning on this.

Her job was not high-tech, but she was a telemarketer for Sears. She was let go - and her unemployment ran out after 6 months. She is not counted as unemployed. That's why the rate is down to 5.6% - because many people are off the list - and are out of the labor market.

She has gone back to school (can find no other job), gets Straight A's - and just wants a little help from our govt. during this rough time.

I think she deserves it.
