Larry: Roadshows....a/k/a "Dog and Pony Shows" are often used by a co to generate the interest of investment bankers and/or stock underwriters. It looks to me like the co is trying to raise some cash....Now, Why would they need more cash at a time when profits are already rising? Hmmmmmmmm? Maybe an acquisition? Yes, I think the co is looking to buy some other co.
Next question, Who would they be interested in buying? How much would they pay? How will the cost be funded? Will the result be accretive or dilutive to earnings? Is synergy achieved? These last few items are the real questions to be asking.
