We need to regulate the energy business. They are crooks whenever they want to be and right now we have no jurisdiction over them in any way. As they showed in 2000, they can jack up the prices and keep them there with a little collusion between Texas and the Saudis/Kuwaitis, the Bush Gang. We also need to start making a serious effort to get off Arab oil completely within 10-15 by replacing much of our gasoline and oil use with new fuels.
